I’m Jo Bund, a mixed media artist and graphic designer. I currently live by the Thames Estuary on the South East coast of the UK, where I work from my art studio.
Creativity has always been part of my life; I loved art at school and I could always be found drawing in my spare time. At college I took an Art Foundation course; then studied a BA Hons in Printed Textile Design at University of East London; and later an MA in Digital Media & Cultural Studies. I have been a Graphic Designer for over 20 years and have been running my own design business, Equilibrium Creative, with my husband since 2010.
In 2015 I decided to return to my passion for art. I joined a local Creative Journal course and I have been working in sketchbooks and altered books ever since.
In 2017, I co-formed a sketchbook collective, called SEVEN, with a group of local artists. We meet regularly and work on collaborative projects, exhibit locally (including the Leigh Art Trail) and run creative workshops.
